At Heritage Hats, we know buying a hat is an investment.

They also show your individual style and carries memories with it throughout your life. Hats are often handed down through generations, so we know that keeping good care of your hat is important for both the fabric of the hat and the fabric of your life. We’re here to help.

  • WHEN SPONGING FAILS, USE 100-GRIT SAND PAPER IN A COUNTER-CLOCKWISE MOTION, GENTLY.
  • NEVER TAKE YOUR HAT OFF BY THE CROWN, BUT BY THE BRIM.
  • DON’T LEAVE YOUR HAT IN AN ENCLOSED VEHICLE OR OTHER HOT PLACES.
  • WIPE WITH A SOFT CLOTH DIPPED IN WARM SUDS MADE BY SYNTHETIC DETERGENT OR SOAP.
  • RINSE WITH ANOTHER CLOTH BARELY WET.
  • AIR DRY ONLY.
  • GETTING THE HAT TOO WET WILL DAMAGE IT.

OUR STORY

"My journey with Heritage Hats began with a deep respect for the Southwest's cowboy culture. I moved to Phoenix in 1981 and fell in love with the lifestyle. Two experienced hatters, Steve Speros and George Falkedes, became my mentors, teaching me the art of cleaning and blocking hats using their 1912 equipment. I started by selling hats from my truck at rodeos and eventually opened my first store in 1983. Today, Heritage Hats is Arizona's largest hat store, offering a wide variety of styles. We also provide custom hat making and restoration services. I'm proud to continue this tradition and carry on the legacy of my mentors."
